Dark Forest has focussed on the provenance of our ingredients because it is important right?!

From September, information on individual batches of Kombucha will be uploaded to our website, along with microbiological analysis of pH, alcohol and sugar content so you can be assured of what is going on in those little amber bottles.

From day one we have been kraft cardboard boxes and paper tape all the way, never any glossy marketing collateral or shiny merch and absolutely no plastic inserts or freebies - (seriously Coles..)

We have swapped out bottle labels for slightly more friendly paper versions (although we still have a way to go), cold brew our kombucha tea and recycle the leaves into body scrub.

Our scoby snacks for pets aren't really hitting the mark so we have some work to do there but our gelato, made from the maturated fruits from our ferments should be hitting the streets for summer so please watch out for them.
